Hey I’m Rosa Kusabbi an Illustrator and Animator based in Liverpool. After graduating with a first Class Illustration degree in 2020 I was named as one of the top ten illustrators to watch by the AOI. My work is centred around Queer joy, female empowerment and social issues such as climate justice. I’d describe my work as a mix of contemporary illustration with influences from vintage protest posters all tied together with a rebellious punky spirit.

Since graduating I've been working as a freelance illustrator, creating work to uplift and empower underrepresented communities and working with local social organisations to further the impact of my work. Ive also brought this ethos into working with clients such as Youtube, Instagram and WhatsApp, working on campaigns with them for International Women’s Day and Pride month. My prints are currently being sold worldwide hopefully spreading a message of unity and joy wherever they end up. I’ve also been involved in multiple international exhibitions from Denmark to the USA and hosted my first solo exhibition in 2022 back at home in Liverpool!
