This work was created for Homotopia and was a piece of work to combat the violent hate crimes in Liverpool at the time, named ‘ Hate Has No Place In Liverpool’ the work symbolises queer people uniting around the city and our Queer joy within itself being a protest towards the hatred we face. Unfortunately within hours of the work being up, it was torn down in an incident which the Merseyside police labeled as a hate crime, however despite being in the centre of Liverpool there was allegedly no cctv in the area. After this the work was later edited to become fundraising T-shirt for Homotopia and they where worn around the city with Pride. The artwork itself was put up again bigger, brighter and safely behind the glass windows of Lush cosmetics.
