This animation was inspired by the song Typical girl by the slits and is a nod to the influence the slits had not just for women in music, but for all women who couldn’t (and still can’t) fulfil their potential because of the social restraints that are placed on us! A strong creative woman is the most dangerous threat to the patriarchy, the biggest form of rebellion is a woman fulfilling that potential!
